Often the SPRING has been depicted by many artist as a group of celebrating people ,who arrive in the fields playing music and carrying flowers. 
In this cameo, the carver shows You the goddess Cerere with the CORNUCOPIA ( horne of planty) and the 3 graces to the right.
But the carver has imagined that the festive arrival of the crowd has disturbed the "privacy" of two lovers, who ,quickly and without clothes, run away.
